Distressed Patriots intends to keep pointing out the dangers of America’s current misguided politicians who are intent upon Orwellian social engineering that far exceeds Constitutional authority and power. They must be exposed and shown for what they are and frankly the watchdog media has not, is not, and likely will not do their job. Therefore, it is up to people like us to spread the word and keep spreading it.
I have been encouraged to do this because of an email I received from some “Congregational church” friends. They are very accomplished retired people of strong faith who, like me and others I know, are distressed with the implementation of Change We Cannot Believe In. My response to them follows below.
The email from my friends:
“Dear Chris,
We are also devastated with what is going on in our country. Other than prayer, donations and calling our Congressmen, we are at a loss as how else we can help to restore our nation. Interestingly, our circle of close friends is becoming smaller. Like minds tend to gravitate to one another. We appreciate your emails and commitment. Hopefully, they will bear fruit. ”
My response to my friends was this:
Dear John and Christine,
I want to tell you we are not alone in our quest to wake up America to the growing danger and looming tragedy that Obama and an out-of-control liberal Congress is bringing to America. I too have many close friends across the USA that have said the same words you wrote with regard to friends parting ways based on political-social differences; always them never me. One dear friend in Jackson Hole, however, said to me that at cocktail parties over the 4th of July weekend several of those "friends" actually spoke to him again expressing emerging reservations about their choice for president.
I believe the Obama façade is beginning to crack as there is a definite turning of the tide according to several polling organizations. Buyer’s remorse is emerging across America. Obama’s Cap & Trade Act and Affordable Health Choices Act are hopefully now being seen for what they are; government intrusion and Big Brother dominance over individual freedoms all in the name of what Obama & Gang say is best for America. This may sound Orwellian, but there is more than enough history – including Obama’s if the media would honestly report on it – to show America exactly where he comes from, who he is and what his plans are to radically change America as we know it.
Rohm Emanuel’s statement, “Never let a serious crisis go to waste…it’s an opportunity to do things you couldn’t do before” is the Obama strategy for change, even if it means nationalization and socialism of a capitalistic society.
There is a crisis in the American healthcare system, but Obamacare and the ultimate “one payer system” – the federal government - is not the solution.

In his own words, Obama admits his and the democrat’s heath care goal is a public option that will ultimately eliminate private employer provided insurance. At a 2007 forum on health care, Obama, Barney Frank, and Jan Schakowsky are all on tape admitting a single public option will put out of business the private insurance industry.
Why is America buying into this? Because when buttered up with slick Obama oratory and glazed over with lies, it sounds as palatable as Herbert Hoover’s 1928 campaign slogan, “A chicken in every pot and a car in every garage.” Who wouldn’t want that?
In response to this video and others like it, the White House is fighting back by asking Americans to essentially turn in bloggers and websites that post “fishy” health insurance “disinformation.” ABC News.com in a blog article entitled GOP Senator: White House Encroaching on First Amendment quoted the White House director of new media Macon Phillips who said, “There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. Well, that’s according to the White House. If you watched the videos above, you can decide for yourself what you heard Obama and Frank say about a one-payer system; if you’re not deaf, make your own decision.
Obama’s near overwhelming blitzkrieg of legislation that is being passed and promoted without even being read is a strategy of selling an apathetic gullible public their political and empowering solution before they know what they bought into. If the federal government has taught us anything, it is its capacity to resist change that reduces power simply by ignoring the sovereignty of the people, especially when the watch dog media no longer bites. If bad legislation is passed, turning the clock back will be near impossible.
Can you believe all of this is being done by a man who is professionally unqualified – and perhaps even constitutionally unqualified – and now being publicly challenged by CNN’s Lou Dobbs of CNN to be the president of the United States of America?

That is where the power is. ... Our rebels have contemptuously rejected the values and the way of life of the middle class. They have stigmatized it as materialistic, decadent, bourgeois, degenerate, imperialistic, war-mongering, brutalized and corrupt. They are right; but we must begin from where we are if we are to build power for change, and the power and the people are in the middle class majority."
In Rules for Radicals (his final work, published in 1971 one year before his death), he addressed the 1960s generation of radicals, outlining his views on organizing for mass power. In the first chapter, opening paragraph of the book Alinsky writes, "What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away."
In Rules for Radicals, Alinsky outlines his strategy in organizing, writing in the prologue: “There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevski said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people.
(CPJ Comment: Does “Change We Can Believe In” offered up in slick sugar coated oratory sound familiar now? Does it start to make more sense?)
They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution. To bring on this reformation requires that the organizer work inside the system, among not only the middle class but the 40 per cent of American families – more than seventy million people – whose income range from $5,000 to $10,000 a year [in 1971]. They cannot be dismissed by labeling them blue collar or hard hat. They will not continue to be relatively passive and slightly challenging. If we fail to communicate with them, if we don't encourage them to form alliances with us, they will move to the right. Maybe they will anyway, but let's not let it happen by default."
Take heart and have faith that there are millions of people like “US” whose voices and keyboards are continually speaking out and spreading the word that the fabric of America is being torn apart, permitted by apathy and stupidity weaned in our liberal education system, supported by a compliant and liberally biased media, and mindless adoration and mass susceptibility to popular talk shows, such as The View and Oprah. What we are seeing today is a direct result of the dumbing down of America and the chipping away of our Constitutional foundation that “we the people” have allowed to go on over the past 50 to 60 years, all in the name of democracy according to liberal ideology.
For a country that still considers itself 78% Christian (see 2007 Pew Survey below), it is amazing that a man of Obama’s character, much less lack of any real professional achievement other than working with ACORN and community organizing, could be so exalted and attain such power in America in the 21st century. The fact an inexperienced junior US Senator who never held a “business job” of any sort much less a notable one, voted “present” most of the time in the Senate, spent significant time writing his own self promoting autobiography and then successfully ran for the presidency bespeaks to the decay of integrity within America; integrity for putting qualified people in the highest office in the land and the most powerful position in the world. Well, it might not be the most powerful when Obama is finished genuflecting to the world on his America apology tours.
And while in Turkey that he should say to the Muslim world that America is no longer a Christian country is reprehensible and bespeaks to his true religious – or lack of – beliefs. How does a country that saved the world twice in the 20th century forget their own history and protagonists that created two world wars?
Let us not forget that we remain a Christian nation, which was founded by Puritans who founded the Congregational Church in America. According to Faith of Our Fathers (www.faithofourfathers.net), “America was indeed founded by bible-believing Christians and based on Christian principles. When they founded this country, the Founding Fathers envisioned a government that would promote and encourage Christianity. All but two of the first 108 universities founded in America were Christian. This includes the first, Harvard, where the student handbook listed this as Rule #1:
“Let every student be plainly instructed and earnestly pressed to consider well, the main end of his life and studies is to know God and Jesus Christ, which is eternal life, John 17:3; and therefore to lay Jesus Christ as the only foundation for our children to follow the moral principles of the Ten Commandment.”
In 1777, the Continental Congress voted to spend $300,000 to purchase bibles, which were to be distributed throughout the 13 colonies! And in 1782, the United States Congress declared, “The Congress of the United States recommends and approves the Holy Bible for use in all schools.”
Our founding fathers held strong beliefs in God that they were not afraid to voice, many of which have been found in their letters and writings. To wit,
Written in the front of Thomas Jefferson’s personal Bible:
"I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus. I have little doubt that our whole country will soon be rallied to the unity of our creator."
In a letter dated April 21, 1803, Jefferson wrote this to Dr. Benjamin Rush (also a signer of the Declaration of Independence):
“My views...are the result of a life of inquiry and reflection, and very different from the anti-Christian system imputed to me by those who know nothing of my opinions. To the corruptions of Christianity I am, indeed, opposed; but not to the genuine precepts of Jesus himself. I am a Christian in the only sense in which He wished any one to be; sincerely attached to his doctrines in preference to all others.”
On April 18, 1775, a British soldier ordered John Hancock and others to “disperse in the name of George the Sovereign King of England.” Adams responded to him saying:
“We recognize no sovereign but God, and no king but Jesus!”
In an October 13, 1789 address to the military, John Hancock said:
"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
In a letter dated June 28, 1813 to Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock wrote:
"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity."
In 1785, in Memorial and Remonstrance Against Religious Assessments, James Madison wrote:
"It is the duty of every man to render to the Creator such homage. Before any man can be considered as a member of Civil Society, he must be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe.”
"We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self government; upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."
And let us not forget that every state constitution preamble references belief in God.

How did we get to where we are today? Complacency compounded by the failure of the American educational system to teach American history. Our children and young people have been indoctrinated to socialism in the name of democracy. We have allowed ourselves as a people to forget that we are a Constitutional Republic that should be governed under the Rule of Law rather than under the Rule of Radicals and a Chicago Thugocrocy.
I never expected to become a political activist; frankly I never thought I would have to become one in America against a sitting president. I fear for our country and the destiny I see for my children and grandchildren. Most shocking and appalling, I have one child, a brother and friends who voted for Obama and continue to believe in him. Sadly, many of them hold no real belief in God although all would probably classify themselves in the 78% of Americans who consider themselves Christian. This saddens me, but you can bring a horse to water, yet not make it drink. This weekend I had 5 young people in my home and during breakfast I made a comment to my daughter’s expressing her unhappiness in her current job in Manhattan. I said that she, and all of them, needed to understand that God has a purpose for them in their lives and that they should be open to finding both.
DON’T LOSE FAITH and DO NOT GIVE UP THE BATTLE
Spread the Word, or as we say in Distressed Patriots for America, Spread the Distress. Perhaps you can help us by spreading our message and initiative to fellow Christians urging them to join their voices under one symbol of resistance. While Obama & Gang are being attacked on many fronts, they MUST be attacked by true Christians; not pseudo-Christians, who recognize that under Obama the Federal Government will not only be our “knows better” Big Brother, but will make life and death decisions.
How Will We Show Strength in Unity and Spread the Distress?
First, we will build one person at a time an Internet distribution network across Connecticut and America. We need to distribute and pass on to likeminded friends, as well as friends who voted for Obama and are beginning to question his motives and tactics, our message and information.
Second, our network members will join their voices together to demonstrate Strength through Unity.
We need to gather together millions of voices to demonstrate DAILY their distress with where our great nation is headed. There is Strength in Unity that cannot be ignored nor denied. As the American Revolution proved, binding common cause provided the strength and unity to create a new nation. Fortunately, we do not have to create a nation, but we the people must save the one we have. Third, we will DAILY demonstrate our distress and dissatisfaction with America’s direction.

Wow, It was stated that Health care is not a moral issue,hmmmm
Please allow me to share a little story with you. As I watched my mom die from cancer, and Health care Insurance Companies dumped on her as if she was no more than a dog dieing on the side of the road, i dropped from and out of this system for over 30 years, and now because of system failure, the IT, has come into my life. As I watch Government Officials fight over this Health care Dollar, it reminds me of a bright sunny day in Tennessee while on a friends farm and a little bug flew in to the ground, and the chickens went plum off, boy oh boy the scawking and the feathers went shy high, so I reached down and I took this scared little Health Care Bug from Government Officials, and I have it safely in my hands. As I searched for a way to help, I asked God to help me build a Reform that is of a moral building block for the better good of man kind and to rebuild the National Security of the United states Of America. And you would never guess what God has allowed me to see. This little blog statement you will find true,

To see the true Health Care Tax forum you must stop thinking in 3-D,This multi tax forum is against a $100 Trillion Dollar system.. ...
To force pay into another system of failures within Health Care Insurance Groups.
This economy will not balance with this concept of a tax forum against the Health Care System. The issue of how to force pay into this system of Health Care may have worked but I am still troubled over the progressive tax forum within this Bill. It covers so many items and Countries that it only forces the system to adjust itself. In some areas, increases against the people and the troubled economy, and in other areas, less effects will be felt.
But this is my big problem, Government Officials seek help and they are to proud to ask us, “the true working force of Government.” It is understandable they have failed the People and within the United States Of America all we ask is to see us as who we are and not try to bring us into this world of the intellectual. I guess our Prime Directive is that of Star Trek, so it must be understood that for millions of people we are just as happy as can be making $13.00 per hour and we have no interest in this world of politics, and how to be a Enstine. Government Officials must understand that there is a level of people within different parts of this Country, that seek to be only that they find to make them happy.
As for this economy well, it is said that the U.S.A. Arms Division has created enough arsenal to destroy every last creature in the world 2 times over,built with tax dollars. This would be funny if not for the irony of it. And now as time has passed Government Officials keep failing. Before 9/11 all the way to today.
As it is in a world of a system, when employees continue to fail, one or two things happen, one; you get fired, two; if you see into a person a good, then it is political correct to implement a penalty or roll back in pay. But this implement of penalty is more favored in the course of action in the Federal Employment World. So how to fix the economy and unite it with the Health Care issue. It would be in the Countries best interest to implement a 10% per cent penalty against every State, County and Government Official within this Matrix of failures. Hey what is that old saying, what is good for the Goose is good for the Gander. I am serous about this, it is past due to show that our Government Officials they have failed, their system failure reaches into this world of warnings that they brush aside as if the information is not worthy noting. From Pearl Harbor to 9/11/2001 to 3/07/2010 of our tax system and Health Care Reform. This 10% per cent penalty should go into the Health Care Forum.
The big problem that Government Officials have is that they have no street credit. President Obama still has some but if he does not take his family and step away from these dueling Parties, that fight over this Health Care Dollar, and stand with Us he will lose all credit from the streets to the county.
President Obama, I would say to you, you have one last chance to regain the hopes and dreams of the American People. To reach out in a concept that states, if there is 250 million people in trouble because of these failures, I would give all my money to them and then I would say to all that I gave money to, “I have no money left, would you all please give me $1.00 back and then I would have $250. million dollars to start all over again.”

Is There A Constitutional Infringement of a Moral Value for Health Care vs. The People

I had to wait for this Bill to be passed in order to show the Republican Party, GOP and FRC Action that it is the voice of the people that guides the destiny of this Country. I guess you could say I needed them to get out of the way so that the last Comic Standing will be FASC Concepts and we do not need the peoples money to assist the needs of the Peoples Rights.
As predicted , the first stages of the Health Care Bill was passed. Why, you ask ? It is because people wish to be seen for their in put of a view and not unite. What is lost is respect with in a concept of { Freedom Of Choice } to be a part of this system or not, with in this Health Care Force Pay Matrix.
What is offered by FASC Concepts is the Freedom Of Choice, because we feel it is unconstitutional to force pay into the failures of Health Care Insurance Companies and then Tax that money. As you can see our elected officials are paying little attention to the public. As I reach out to my computer and I knock , knock, knock on the screen, and I say is there any body out there?

To show the people of the United States that there is a plan to cover the sick and the poor, but to get Government Officials to see is a concept alone.
To help cover the sick and the poor is a FASC Concept that states that to build a Health Care Forum within our Government Institution is a Peoples right to do so and this is Protected Under the Constitution as a Human and Civil Right. So in plan words if the poor and the sick could only afford to pay $5.00 to $10.00 per month this would to bring a balance toward the broken tax system, to add up this number 32 million to 100 million sick and poor people x $5.00 per month. This will place back into the system $116 million $to 500 million dollars per month. The cause and effect of this will reduce the purposed Health Care Tax Forum, to bring about a reduced effect so not to a over burden a system. Take my faith in this and almost all the poor and sick would be happy to pay in and help rebuild the United States failed tax system. Also To bring about a balance of trust lost between the people and Officials.
Under a Federal Health Care Group built by my friends and I. {You see the poor, as you see them}, as for them they see them self not poor, but of a different race of people and environment and have faith it that which was in the past that so many do not have a clue of what God and Country is all about.
