Gadhafi Lauds Obama in UN Speech as "Our Son from Africa...a Glimpse in the Darkness"
As America's # 1 statesman, Obama is in a class all his own, the likes of which America has never seen.

Howdy Folks,

I played hooky to spent time researching the Climate Change write up, but I probably should have skipped it given what was going on to overwhelm the American information system over the last couple of days.

I am coming to the conclusion that it must be the work of the czars. It’s hard to keep straight the normal BS from what appears to be your normal democratic cabinet from the middle of the night radicals nudging us out of common sense orbit. Then of course we have the head cheer leader who “damn the people” is charging ahead with his radical political and social agenda.

I couldn't sit through all 5 or 6 Sunday shows, and since having seen one I suspect you’ve seen them all. Only George Stephanopoulos asked any decent questions, so if you had to watch just one that was the one. He didn't get any answers mind you, because the great one only deals with great issues of our day, he never has followed ACORN when asked if he would sign the defunding bill for the corrupt organization that meets with him once a week at the WH, nor will the anointed one abide by his "strategy for Afghanistan" that he agreed to only a few months ago with General McCrystal. The few pesky questions about health care lies likewise went unanswered. Maybe there also was one on immigration reform, i.e. giving amnesty to anyone that can run, swim, or jump the Rio Grande.

Perhaps I am being too harsh about the Mexicans and they’re just coming here to try out for the Olympics. No, I think it is because he wants 47 million new health care recipients (voters) on the rolls and by making them all American citizens can claim he solved the immigration-illegals issue.

Remember what I said about watching the hand and I don't mean the one we are being shown. The hand we were being shown today was all about the diplomatic skills of our leader. Continuing the Great Obama Apology Tour, it was all about his UN speech, where by golly if we just get rid of our nuclear weapons and everyone makes nice, the world will be a better place. I could hear John Lennon singing in the background; Gadhafi liked it though.

Gadhafi, when it was his turn to rant and rave, praised Obama as a “glimpse in the darkness.....Our son, from Africa, Barack Obama." Gadhafi went further saying he would be happy if Obama would be president forever and further babbled on about the “rolling thunder” the Annoited One will send like it was sent over Vietnam and Iraq. As I recall, Gadhafi didn't open his mouth when Bush was President; I guess it was because Bushie put a missile up his pup tent.

I won't even go into the thrust of the anti Israel rhetoric. I guess Barry’s one on ones with Netanyahu and the Hamas guy did not go so well; otherwise why make statements that will surely lead to conflict particularly with Iran. Why get the hopes up of the poor Palestinians thinking he can deliver the West Bank, Gaza strip and Jerusalem. This will never happen so long as one Israeli is alive. My prediction is within one year, Israel will take out their backyard Iran nuclear threat, oil prices will sky rocket, the conflict may escalate given China's new found buddy in Tehran and the US will do nothing. And speaking of doing nothing, how about when we threw Poland and Czech Republic under the bus this week! And Honduras last week! Wasn't that sort of like standing at their border and waving at the Russians as the tanks rolled in? The endorsement of the dictator in Honduras, who is a Hugo Chavez wanna be, is minor but hardly a feather in our cap. But it bespeaks to the diplomatic buffoonery of the Obama administration and where their thinking is.

Imagine what the boys and girls putting their lives on the line for America are thinking. If this course Obama is charting is the road ahead for America, better to bring our soldiers home, although under the current Attorney General they may all run the risk of being investigated like the CIA, or treated as terrorist by Homeland Security.

Do you suppose this is how they did things in Kenya? Wow, I can't believe I said that. Yep, as America’s #1 statesman Obama is in a class all his own, the likes of which America has never seen. The left seems delighted in everything he does, which is further and clearly demarcating the line between the left and right in this country.

While I’m gazing into my crystal ball I will also add that in less than a year Obama will rollover and we’ll be out of Afghanistan leaving it to fall to the Taliban. This idea of appeasement and following the left wing drivel is hardly what I would call a strategy of taking care of this country and making Americans safe. Frankly I would rather see us pull everyone out now and admit defeat then risk one more American life.

On healthcare, the Queen and the Prince are busy little socialist beavers. So far, only 500 amendments have been added to the HR 3200 bill. I wonder how many of Congress people have read these amendments, much less the bill, in their duty to look out for their constituency? The current legislative process to take government control of 15+ percent of our economy (read OUR LIVES)is OUT OF CONTROL. There is still a public option; there is still no explicit language on illegals, there is still no explicit language on federally funded abortions and there is still $500 million in Medicarecutbacks.

Oh, something new this week was learned from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's Op Ed piece that you will find here:

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columns/OpEd-Contributor/Obama-is-stifling-dissent-on-health-care-reform-8284199-60678057.HTML

Remember Max Baucus, Democrat from Montana, Chairman of the Finance Committee and author of the Senate Finance Committees version of Health Care? He was the one standing alone presenting the inspired plan of the Gang of Six, but only supported by the Democrats Gang of Three, and two wouldn't even be seen with him. Well it turns out that Max Baby asked the White House through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to launch an investigation into Humana for their explaining to seniors how this legislation might affect their coverage. Humana apparently had the audacity to quote the Congressional Budget Office saying benefits would be severely cut, as well as become more expensive. The administration snapped to attention at the senator's request and almost immediately the government clamped down on a private health care company in my home state that had been sharing its concerns about the administration's health care proposal with seniors on Medicare.

"This is so clearly an outrage it's hard to believe anyone thought it would go unnoticed. For explaining to seniors how legislation might affect them, the federal government has now issued a gag order on that company, and any other company that communicates with clients on the issue, telling them to shut up -- or else." And how smart was it to pick on Humana in the Senator's home state of Kentucky? I guess free speech just isn't what it used to be.

The best is last. Listening to talk radio, the following little tidbit came from a listener. It is in regards to a little cartoon being shown in schools all over the country, as far back as Bush so this isn't solely an Obama thing. We are, after all, an equal opportunity Distressed Patriot. It is a 20 minute film written by Annie Leonard out of Berserkly. It was funded by the left wing organization "The Tides" and Soros, out of which came the Apollo Project with Jeff Jones (The Weather Underground and Bill Ayers buddy), Van Jones, the X-communist Green Czar, et al. The name of the film is "The Story of Stuff".

Annie describes the story on her website as follows: “The Story of Stuff is a 20-minute, fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and consumption patterns. The Story of Stuff exposes the connections between a huge number of environmental and social issues, and calls us together to create a more sustainable and just world. It'll teach you something, it'll make you laugh, and it just may change the way you look at all the stuff in your life forever.” It will also make you puke if you are over the age of 10.

If this were being shown to my kids in school, I would have some principal and school board sent out for rendition on some ant hill. It is not close to being factually correct and it also paints a world where it is the government’s job to take care of us; once again indoctrinating our children to believe in the “Nanny State.”

It is not the government’s job to take care of us. The government’s job is to keep us safe, and protect and defend the Constitution. It is the individual’s responsibility to be a good citizen, respect the rights of others, and take advantage of the opportunities granted to him to better himself and leave the world a better place. This indoctrination piece of crap is oriented towards "social justice" and that we cannot live in a consumer world under our bad capitalistic system.

While I believe we need to recognize that we are not the only ones on the planet and that conservation is important and should be taught in schools, it is not our job to wonder what ills we are perpetrating on the 3rd world because we choose to buy from them. Look at it for yourself. When you first see it, it looks and sounds like a cartoon. Now imagine it being shown to an 8-10 year old child, although it gets shown up through the 12th grade in some schools. This indoctrination crap in our public schools has to stop and parents have to take the lead. These are your children, NOT THE GOVERNMENT’S……..yet.

Too much fun for one night
